Schola at 65 - Alumni Alternative Event Sign-Up FormSchola is delighted to invite alumni who wish to attend the 65th Anniversary Reunion in Oxford on Saturday 3 May, but who do not wish to sing in the concert, to join an informal afternoon get-together to sing some of the pieces from Schola's recent concert repertoire.
Stephen Clarke has kindly offered to conduct, and the session will take place in the recently renovated Chapter House of Christ Church Cathedral. The objective is to sing and socialise together and have fun. We hope you will then join the rest of the choir for 'afternoon tea' in Oxford Town Hall and that you will also stay to attend the concert at 7.30pm. Timetable for the afternoon 14.15 - 14.30 Registration and welcome in Christ Church Chapter House 14.30 - 16.00 Singing 16.30 - 17.30 Tea in Oxford Town Hall 17.30 - 19.30 Free time 19.30 - 21.30 Join audience for 65th Anniversary Concert in the Town Hall. The concert will be two halves of approximately 40 minutes with an interval. There will be a restriction on numbers and we will aim to balance the voices as far as possible. Ticket Information Tickets for afternoon singing and tea (£25) are available from the Schola website. Concert tickets can be purchased from Tickets Oxford, witih prices ranging fromo £18 to £40. The closing date is midnight on Monday 21 April, but late applications, especially from tenors and basses, will be considered sympathetically.
