Choir Committee 2024/25On a day-to-day basis, the choir is run by the Choir Committee, in close consultation with the Conductor and the Artistic Administrator. The Committee are all current members of Schola, so there are plenty of opportunities for singers to benefit from the experience of helping to run a professional musical organisation.
In charge of most of the administration is the Choir Chair, who is the first port-of-call for the choir. Also on the Committee are the Secretary, Publicity Manager, Librarian and Auditions Secretary. The Committee meet at least once a term, and these meetings are open to any interested members of the choir. Together with the Conductor and the Artistic Administrator, they also attend two meetings a term with the Trustees to review past performance and discuss future plans. |
"Singing with Schola has given me opportunities to perform in amazing venues with world-class ensembles, and being Chairman has given me valuable insights into the running of a professional organisation that will be useful for the rest of my life."
